Recyling Schedule for City of Fairbury

Northwest Section - west side of Fourth Street to the West and both sides of Locust street to the North

Pick up is on  the 1st & 3rd Thursday

Northeast Section - East side of Fourth Street to the East and both sides of Locust Street to the North

Pick up is on  the 1st & 3rd Tuesday

Southwest Section - West side of fourth Street to the West and both sides of Walnut Street to the South

Pick up is on  the 2nd & 4th Tuesday

Southeast Section - East side of Fourth Street to the East and both sides of Walnut Street to the South

Pick up is on  the 2nd & 4th Thursday

RECYCLING INFORMATION

City will NOT pick up unclean/mixed items.  All Recycling must CLEAN & SORTED.

"CLEAN-SORT-CURB"

Plastic bottles, all colors, clean, NO lids or caps, look for #1 or #2.   No tubs without symbol!

Aluminum can, clean, NO foil, NO trays.

Tin cans, clean, NO lids, NO labels.

Glass bottles, No Green, clean, NO caps or tops, NO Pyrex, NO   drinking glasses, NO Window glass, No ceramics.

Newspaper Must be Dry! Magazines, books, flat cardboard, all O.K.   Each like item must be bagged, bosed or bundled separately!
