Chamber Member Benefits

  1. Membership ensures your place in the Membership Directory and Community Guide that is published annually. This useful guide is sent out to anyone who inquires about the community. It highlights member businesses and the community in general.
  2. Members can participate in our Gift Certificate program. Gift certificates can be used at over 50 member businesses. Your business is listed as a participant and is completely free and available only to members.
  3. Members are listed on the Fairbury website, which is maintained by the Chamber of Commerce. Members can post their special events on the Community Calendar page. Members are listed in alphabetical order on the Chamber of Commerce Directory page where there address, phone, and fax number are listed along with a hyperlink to member websites.
  4. The Chamber sponsors many advertising promotions throughout the year that are available to members only. Promotions include radio advertising, newspaper advertising, and contests.
  5. The Chamber hosts the Annual Community Sale in April and the annual Christmas Parade in December. These special events bring visitors to our community.
  6. The Chamber has 3-10 x 10 Canopies available to rent for $25.00 each. This fee is waived to members.(No longer Available)
  7. Members can make copies for $.10ea, send faxes for $.50ea. and receive faxes free of charge. The conference room is also available for members to hold special meetings with seating of up to 10.
  8. The Chamber keeps a database of Fairbury businesses and will print mailing labels free of charge for members. It is a $25.00 fee to all non-members.
  9. The Chamber hosts Annual Dinner/Business Meeting for members only. This gives members an opportunity to interact with other business people in our community.
  10. The Chamber performs Ribbon Cutting Ceremonies to welcome new businesses to our community. A picture of the ceremony is then published in The Blade.
  11. The Executive Secretary is available to answer questions about the community and the Chambers members. The office is open Tuesday &Thursday 8:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
